The museum of brewing and beer factory are situated not far from the center of Minsk at 30 Kiseleva street. This is not a typical museum. Here among the exhibits you’ll find a bar where you can degust different sorts of Alivariya beer produced right there. Alivariya Company is a part of the Carlsberg group and is a winner of many international competitions.
An interesting fact is that the first owner of the factory 150 years ago was a lady Rohlia Frumkina. Then a new owner had become a governor of Minsk Karol Yan Chapskiy who modernized it due to the modern standards. In the Soviet period here was produced almost 1 mln cover litres of beer but even this wasn’t enough so the government took a decision to build a second factory. Besides the factory didn’t stop working even during the World war 2 period.
Of course the most interesting part of excursion is the process of beer production. While walking we’ll meet only one worker so everyone can realize the level of automatization of the factory. It’s hard to imagine how hard it was to with a 4-floor cans in older times.
There is also a unique in Belarus and CIS wheel of tastes. You can try such tastes of beer as chocolate, banana, apple, vanilla, etc. It’s a fact that all the tastes come out without any chemical additions.
Duration – 2 hours. Only those who reached 18-year old age are allowed to participate in this excursion.
